Different Dimension

Selected works by Gloria Marco, Spain

"I create large handmade, unique photograms. Like a fingerprint, I use the skins of humans and animals
as lithography plates, transforming their own images. Similar to antique techniques as "gyotaku" in
Enoshima, the pressure of my models on the photography paper transfers its own image, size,
silhouette and texture, as scars of real life. Outside the form, the imprints remain suspended on a solid
black background creating unrecognizable individuals. Still inside, the epidermis reality hides
the identity stronger than a photo can give, a digital imprint of the soul, as unique as DNA."
