Greetings everyone!
There seems to be many reports about this same issue, so while we are investigating the root cause of this issue, there are some things worth checking out which might solve the problem.
-
Administrator rights: Install the game with administrator rights (open the folder where you downloaded the installation package in to, right click on PanzarFBC, "run as administrator")
-When the installation is complete, give the clients (as default those can be found at: C:/Games/Panzar/Bin64/PnzCl and Panzar/Bin32/PnzCl) administrator rights
-Right-click on the game launcher -> Select "Properties"-> Select Compatibility tab at the top of the window -> check the box that says “Run this program as administrator” -> Click Apply -> Click OK.
-
Give a fresh install for vtsredist (Visual C++ Redistributable): First, uninstall the Visual C++ Redistributables from your computer. This can be done at (Windows 7 OS) navigating to Control Panel -> Uninstall a program (Right under the "Programs") -> Find all the Microsoft visual C++ redistributables (both x86 and x64 versions) and deleting them by right click -> Unistall. After this install the files from Panzar\PnzTools\Redist\VS\ directory manually.
Those files (vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86) are self-extracting executable files that installs the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ run-time files and operating system components that are required by most projects created with Visual C++ 6.0. These files include fixes that are included with Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4).
-
Re-install DirectX by navigating to Panzar\PnzTools\Redist\DX\ and from there find application named DXSETUP. Right click it and run it as administrator.
-
Disable your Antivirus program during gameplay: After a patch it is always a good thing to make sure that your antivirus program and Windows Firewall are still allowing the game to establish a proper connection as before. Disable your antivirus before starting the launcher.
