Post subject: | Problems with scanner stopping at 99% |
Hello, I come from Italy and I have a little problem. I've just downloaded the game, installed and ran but when it is the time to scanning it doesn't work. Here is a pic of the screen. What should I do to make it work? http://i.imgur.com/hjXTQw8.jpg |

Hey there RangerITA! I'm pretty sure we can find a solution for your problem! First thing you might want to try out is the tips&tricks at the Lost connection section. Once you are there, you should start going through the steps from number 3, which is related to administrator privileges. Allthough your problem is not "lost connection", these same things might prevent your connection to be established in the first place. Read the instructions carefully! I hope to see you in game! If the problem persists however, contact us again and we will be happy to help. |

Greetings everyone! There seems to be many reports about this same issue, so while we are investigating the root cause of this issue, there are some things worth checking out which might solve the problem. -Administrator rights: Install the game with administrator rights (open the folder where you downloaded the installation package in to, right click on PanzarFBC, "run as administrator") -When the installation is complete, give the clients (as default those can be found at: C:/Games/Panzar/Bin64/PnzCl and Panzar/Bin32/PnzCl) administrator rights -Right-click on the game launcher -> Select "Properties"-> Select Compatibility tab at the top of the window -> check the box that says “Run this program as administrator” -> Click Apply -> Click OK. -Give a fresh install for vtsredist (Visual C++ Redistributable): First, uninstall the Visual C++ Redistributables from your computer. This can be done at (Windows 7 OS) navigating to Control Panel -> Uninstall a program (Right under the "Programs") -> Find all the Microsoft visual C++ redistributables (both x86 and x64 versions) and deleting them by right click -> Unistall. After this install the files from Panzar\PnzTools\Redist\VS\ directory manually. Those files (vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86) are self-extracting executable files that installs the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ run-time files and operating system components that are required by most projects created with Visual C++ 6.0. These files include fixes that are included with Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4). - Re-install DirectX by navigating to Panzar\PnzTools\Redist\DX\ and from there find application named DXSETUP. Right click it and run it as administrator. -Disable your Antivirus program during gameplay: After a patch it is always a good thing to make sure that your antivirus program and Windows Firewall are still allowing the game to establish a proper connection as before. Disable your antivirus before starting the launcher. -Open correct ports either in your router firewall or/and in your Windows firewall: -Delete the folders USER and LogBackups. These folders are generated by the game client and will be re-created if they are deleted. These can be found from the Panzar folder which is located at (C:) -> Games -> Panzar by default. 443 45101-45107 45200-45239 To open the ports in Windows firewall you need to do the following: a. Choose Start -> Control Panel. (if you use category view) - Click the System and Security link and then click Windows Firewall. (if you use large or small icon view) - Just click Windows Firewall b. On the left, click the Advanced Settings link. c. On the left, click Inbound Rules. Then, on the right, under Actions, click the New Rule link and click Next. d. In the Specific Local Ports box, type the ports you want to open, separated by commas ( In this case, the TCP ports that need to be opened are 433, 45101-45107, 45200-45239) and then click Next. e. Choose Allow the Connection and click Next. f. Check the boxes for Private or any other desired network type, and then click Next. g. Type a name (For example "Panzar"). Click Finish. To open ports for the router please see the user manual or manufacturer's website for details. Alternatively, you can also use the default guides for the routers at http://portforward.com/ and add TCP ports 433, 45101-45107, 45200-45239. In case you are running third party firewall systems, refer to the software website to find the latest manual for the program If you are absolutely sure that everything related to things above are in order, please contact us via email help@panzar.com and attach Logbackupfiles, MSInfo and dxdiagfiles into your email. Instructions for these files are as follows: Instructions for dxdiag.txt Press simultaneously Windows key + R Type "dxdiag" and hit enter A popup may appear, asking about digital signatures, answer yes. DirextX Diagnostic Tool appears, use "Save All Information" to create the file to any location where you can later find it. Attach the file to your response. Instructions for MSInfo.txt Press Windows Key + R. Type MSInfo32 and press Enter. In the MSInfo diagnostic window, click File, then Export. When the Export As window appears, choose Desktop. Name the file "MSInfo" and click Save. Attach the file to your response. Instructions for LogBackup files Find logs by following folder path (if the game has been installed into the default path) C:\Games\Panzar\LogBackups Make a zip package of that folder (Right-click on the folder -> Send to Compressed zip folder) |
