Post Summer League 5/8 6.7: Exploitation claims
After the Summer League Round 5 tournament, several complaints were made regarding exploitation. As Panzar is a deeply competitive game by nature, especially so in the tournaments, we take these complaints very seriously, and have investigated them thoroughly. Please read on to learn about our findings, our decisions regarding our findings, and what this means for the future.

Exploiting the map
There are two sections in the rules regarding this:

5.1 The team will be removed from the tournament if it has been using bugs or potential in-game exploits to its own advantage. In case the player encountered unit collision leading to inability to move, the player must immediately use the "suicide" option in the game main Menu.

5.3 Using in-game characters and abilites to reach forbidden or un-accessable in a normal way areas leads to disqualification of the entire team.

We have verified that during the tournament, a player positioned himself in a way that allowed him to participate in combat, yet could not be damaged or reached *normally* by the enemy team. However, we have opted to NOT disqualify the team, as we felt that the exploitation alone did not decide the map it was used in. Furthermore, the exploitation was not in line with the performance of the team in rest of the tournament, and as this is the first time we encounter the issue on the EU realms, we want to give the player in question the benefit of doubt instead of taking out the whole team due to his actions.
As such, there will be no action taken regarding this situation.

However, let this serve as the first and last warning. In the future, any such verified action will be dealt with the full extent of the rules; the team will be disqualified regardless of the stage of the tournament or the team in question.

Playing for several teams

- During the tournament each gaming account can only be a part of one team. Meaning that players are not allowed to change their teams from the begining till the end of the tournament.

A complaint was made that a player played in two teams of his clan during the tournament. We were not able to confirm this, and as such no action will be taken.

Same as above, if such action is verified in the future, it will lead to *both* teams being disqualified. To further clarify this:
1) It is allowed to make changes to your team before the tournament begins.
2) It is allowed to make changes to your team between matches - however you can only switch in a player who has NOT played in any other team during the tournament. I.e. you can have players in reserve, but when they are, they cannot play for any other team.
3) It is NOT allowed to change between teams once you have played in a match, even if one team is eliminated and the other moves on.
4) It is NOT allowed to join a team that's missing players if you have already played for another team in the tournament.

We hope this clarifies the events for the Summer League Tournament played on the 6.7, and for the future. While we did not take action for the verified incident at this time, it is only because these matters are new to the whole community. Now that the issue is out in the open, there are no excuses for players to fall back on, nor any reason for us to not penalise exploiting. We sincerely wish that giving this one chance was all that was needed, and that there won't be incidents such as this in the future.

NOTE:
Please note that we will not enter into discussion about this decision, nor will we entertain such discussion on the forums. Any attempt to create such discussion will be shut down.
Please refer to the rule:
