Uhm... She said that about the 'rivalry' between Golf Wang and the team which name I cannot remember - something with Hackers. So in the rivalry Golf Wang wins with better score or something, so Golf Wang gets 2k and that team gets 1k crystals, as far as I remember.

@Zera, I remember that it was already said a few times that your gear is taken into consider when matchmaking. Different case is how it works. But I think it will be improved with the next patch - we were even shown something from the patch while the "Take on Zar' stream.

This algorithm doesnt work correctly with 3 player groups. Often 2x 3 player groups with the best gear are matched together. I could prove this with hundred screenshots. There should be an eye on the group queues.
Also I know how the algorithm works:
MATCHMAKING EQUATION = MAP* + CLASS + BATTLE VALUE
BATTLE VALUE = LEVEL ( - )** + EQUIPMENT (+ +)** + PLAYER SKILL ( + + ) + CLASS SKILL ( + )**
*MAP is chosen based on what map every player has played the least
**( + + ) Important ( + ) Average ( - ) Minor

The EQUIPMENT (+ +) should be THREE PLUS. It is so important if a zerk, inqui or fire good max gear. Or it doesnt work just because there are not enough players on EU. Maybe the algorithm works better on RU.

On that stream was even said that: level is less than 5%, eq about 15%, class/player skill about 20/30 % - I could mistake the order. However i wonder where the remaining 30 % is
