Woah, nice. I haven't seen many independent pc companies use achievements yet. Really it's just been xbox live, PSN and Blizzard who've used achievement systems so far, so it's nice to see it's spreading into other games. I think achievements at a lot of depth and longevity to games.

same here :D

told some friends about fbc now because of its promising concept...
i used to play mmos and fps with them (most of my old comm are playing global agenda atm)
responses on the fbc - gameplay videos where as i expected... astonished silence followed by euphoric screams :D :D :D

EDIT:
btw: how come there is so little PR about fbc by now? people are like "how did we not know about this?"

spread the word... this game is gonna rock !!!

Hmmm.... Crysis 2 has good PR already and the game is in pre-alpha. All it takes is a simply screenshot to make people hyped up. Gameplay videos and stuff can always come later in development.

Whenever you feel that your game has reached the point where a screenshot or video would be good, then by all means, show us! ;)

Just a point to not show us too much. Crytek did this with Crysis 1 and you feel like you already played the game when you first get it... Giving us information is great, but keep some surprises for the game itself. Understand?

You'll get money from experience gained in custom fights. Fighting with friends is only for fun and clan rankings. The reason we did that is the problem with experience gain exploits. I think it's a good idea that you do not have a Auction House, I don't see how it would benefit a PVP based game, if it was an MMO then it would be a different story.

No crafting is ok too, I think I rather gain new weapons/gadgets from leveling and earning money from winning games/killing players etc... and earn it.

Is there a gold cap by any chance? How expensive will items be?

There is no gold cap. We always have places where to spend money - repairs, consumables, upgrades (actually it's very similar to crafting because you have a chance to brake an item.)
