I think there needs to be some incentive to buy the gear as you level up. Right now, it seems like the best way is to get to level 30 and then buy gear. Why should I waste gold on lower level gear when I can move the slider to 100% exp and hit lvl 30 faster? I am level 11 right now but I don't see any reason to buy any gear yet.

I noticed some pieces of gear require another piece of gear in the recipe. Why don't all pieces of gear require the previous tier in the recipe? That might not be the best solution, but if it was like that, you'd want to buy the lower level gear.

Hi,
The gear is needed for more life and dmg,for me the best way to do it, is to get the 3 lvl crafting first and than build stuff. With my chars i usualy have the 3th lvl crafting at lvl 15.At lvl 17 i am with full armor and i need it otherway i am an one hit woander...The mele classes need full gear the hole time.
Only epic gear require its predecessor to be build and it has low chance of building(like 40%), so if it fails u loose the predecessor as well...

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that the epic gear had a low chance to craft! I never tried to make any yet.

I understand that the gear gives stats and it's harder to compete without gear, but it seems in the game's current state, it is far more efficient to suffer through lower levels with no gear and hit lvl 30 twice as fast than to spend time building up gold and purchasing gear that you won't use at level 30 anyway.

I dont know which class you play, but for me it was possible to NOT build gear only with the fire sors(range attack) and only till lvl 20, than thay startet killing me with 1 shoot... If you build the gear you will end up 1st or 2nd the holle time and gain much more resources and XP and get the lvl much faster. I played all the classes and tried different combos. Its just no fun getting killed the hole time :)

PS allways get the crafting skill first, otherway you will loose much resoursces(aaa and the red runes are the best:)))

improvement of equipment is of special significance at a high competition. Soon there will be people playing only at level 10 (as an example), they will increase their power at the expense of the runes, amulets and armor at their level. While the competition is not much can before the 20th did not bother with crafting gear at every level

Low-level epic had 100% chance to craft

Btw, when you guys say get the crafting skill first... where do you get it? Did I fail to notice it under the talent tree or is it bought anywhere else?

Also, I see some recipes, for example Iron Bar, require those diamonds you need to pay for... so is there any chance at crafting gear at all if you don't pay for the game?

Also, there's a slider for xp/gold? (OP said: "i can move slider to 100% xp and level up to 30 faster")

if you do not have the resources to craft items, you are encouraged to purchase the missing resources

The crafting skill is in the skill tree. It's at the bottom and it has 3 tiers (for up to +30% chance to craft). It is VERY useful to max this out before you craft anything with less than 100% chance to craft, or you might lose your mats when crafting.

When you craft something and you don't have the required amount of mats, it will give you the option to purchase the missing mats for gems. You don't have to purchase them with gems, though. Instead you can just wait until you have all the required mats.

After you hit level 4, when the match is over, there will be a slider on the screen that shows the xp/gold/mats you got for the match so you can choose if you want more xp or more gold.
