Post Win Loss Effect On Battle Value
Can you please provide information on how much effect this will play in BV rating. I ask because there is a large number of games players leave when the team starts loosing. I'm worried that if this may increase this behavior which only punishes the players that have been waiting in queue and get in a game with 2 minutes left on a loosing team.

If you watch streams you will see that the current system for players who "leave battle or quit" has little effect. Most of the players outside of USA already have full epics, full upgrades on 80% or more of armor, and 999+ consumable potions. So leaving a loosing game at the cost of only getting half of materials they do not need has little effect or consequence.

If win/loss record plays a big part then it will have a big impact on the game in a negative fashion by increasing this behavior. I would much rather see the sport of the fight and good compition remain the focus.

I also hope other parameters do not deter from team play and create more selfish play just to increase BV..... There is a difference in playing to win and playing for self...

But what advantage would you have out of a higher Battle Value? You just get into fights against better, and better, and even better people by time. Your opponents will be so OP compared to you by time, that you can't do anything in those games, even if the other 9 players may cause you win the match. Like you are Level 10 and fight against Level 30's. Even if your team win, totally no fun.

I'm actually happy if my BV goes down and down, so i get into easy games by time where I can own everybody :D

However, in a preview Screenshot they showed how BV is displayed ingame. A character had 3200 points, and it showed BV of 320, another had 2000 points and it showed BV of 200. Since those were probably new, never used before demo characters and they had like no BV, I guess it's points/10 that somehow gets into the BV. So the best man in the looser team is pretty close, or even higher, like the worst of the winner team. But how it all works in detail, don't know. But we will see on Monday, as we can observe our own BV development.

Edit: And I think it's too obvious to even mention it: If you join a running game that is over within few seconds, and you take place of one of those "oh i loose i leave" guys... it MUST NOT have any effect in battle value.

This screenshots are examples. Actually BV works different. I don't know how exactly, but fully-equipped 30-lvl character always has ~4000 BV, six amulets and runes give next ~1000 BV and upgrades increase it. Battles too but a little.

Ok! Thanks for the information! That sounds like you can somewhat influence your BV by adding or removing armor / amulets.

Indeed you can. Your eq highly impacts, they say, on what players you are going to play with.
