BV and Match-Making System
There are some complaints from higher BV players about the new matchmaking(MM) system. Tell us what you think. Vote on the poll and post in this thread
Here is how the MM system organises the teams:
SUM of the BV of one of the teams = SUM of BV of the other. The difference between SUMs can be no bigger than 10%. To understand the total team BV you should not compare chars individually but the total sum of team BV

Re: BV and Match-Making System
I was hoping for this thread. Yes, it's so bad, that you can see people playing without armor and pants (in game of course). I don't think it's moving in the right direction. I don't know any person saying that it makes the game better.

Re: BV and Match-Making System
I'm actually more interessed in how the BV (individually) is calculated. For instance when my team looses, but i'm still considered MVP my BV still drops. How is the change decided? Also how big off an impact do amu's have on BV? And are the numbers of the upgrades counted or the quality of the upgrades? 5 orange upgrades can easily beat 10 weak upgrades. So few questions here, that said i manage to get into games just fine. Perhaps due to not having amu's, all the end gear and few upgrades (Yes i refuse to admit i'm crap )

Re: BV and Match-Making System
I don't have any trouble with finding matches, but I think this system is worse than previous. SUM of BV is equal but so what if two players with big BV beating 10 players with medium BV?

Re: BV and Match-Making System
I'm always completely naked except for socks. I tend to have cold feet... After the servermerge we found games very quickly at nearly every time of the day. Now the waiting times increase at night. Yesterday we waited for ~half an hour at 1:30 AM CET with a group of tank, ice and pala, all level 30, BV between 5300 and 5500 I think. We split up after waiting for too long and were still waiting quite some time until we found a match for all three of us. While we waited we saw several other lvl30 from our friends- and clanlists to get into match after match without nearly any waiting time. After the BV patch I evolved from 4300 to 5500 BV and I recognized that it gets harder to find matches the higher the number rises. I'm afraid that I don't find a public game when I put amulets and runes in my equip for the tournament tomorrow.

Re: BV and Match-Making System
i don't have trouble finding game, like other said, the only one thing that trouble me is players playing naked or play to the BV they want, to group or rape other people -_-

Re: BV and Match-Making System
12:00 - 15:00: games real quick (< 1 min ) 15:00 - 20:00: Instant games (< 10 s) 20:00 - 0:00: games quite quick ( < 3 min) 0:00 - 2:00: some waiting ( < 15 min ) 2:00 - 6:00: quite terrible ( > 20min if not on a wave )
To me, it feels like during day it's way faster, during night actually slower. Earlier there was one Night Wave running on EU. You were just waiting once 15min to get on it, and good. Now there are lots more waves going during night. Unlike on EU, the system now lets waves start without putting me in, to find a better fitting match for me later. Therefore I see friends going from ready to "In Game" over and over, while I wait and wait and wait ;( Yesterday it was around 40min at 3:00. I did then one more game, which was on the same wave and started within 2-3min. But it has also happened, that I missed the wave after a game, although instant ready, just cause the matchmaker found a better (in terms of better BV for the party) replacement for me, and then I wait another 40min.

Re: BV and Match-Making System
First of all, I don't understand why players with low value get to vote on here, as this topic was specific pointed at players with high value (6k+ atleast, preferably higher.)
Panzar makes us want to believe that the higher value you posess, the more valuable you are to the team and the better you can contribute. This is all fine, except that this matchmaking (MM) punishes players who achieve high value, in other words players who succeed. So when you succeed in this game, crafted all the gear, all the runes and amulets, all the gold spent on upgrades, it's all useless (only tournaments of course). You won't find a game anymore, (personally speaking about 6.4k+), or at best 1 in 4 hours. This forces us to drop value, by unequiping gear, runes and/or amulets. This is the sole reason you see so many naked players out there, who have been forced to not getting to use their hard-earned equipment, just to find a game.
TLDR, when you succeed, you get punished. This matchmaking system is only noob-friendly.
