I really like this game. It's fun. That being said, i refuse to play it anymore.

I always ignored what people said about this game being pay to win. Because i could own people regardless, i thought it was just nonsense.

That all changed when i got to level 20.

First match, get in, everyone in full "i bought this with real money" Gear. I figured it wouldn't matter, tried to play like i normally do. Nope.

I get one shotted. Okay. Respawn try again. One shotted.

I block a p2w berzerkers POWER attack, one shotted.

So then i tried to craft some gear. I went to forge and crafted a level 18 helm. It took all my crafting materials i gathered from level 1-20. That's a total of 35 hours of gameplay. Then it took FOUR DAYS to craft. I used crystals to speed up the process. Went back into a game, again, everyone one shots me. I even watched a healers power attack one shot my turrent, both tesla coils all my traps and all my gravity mines IN ONE SWING.

At that moment i realized somthing. End game is completely based on how much you spend.

Dont get my wrong, i realize the company has to make money, but this is a little cute. I haven't seen a pay to win system this bad since 07 PC games.

I love this game, i really do but i can't bring myself to play it any longer until you bring some balance.

A majority of those guys don't spend a lot in this game but they play it for months. The main problem is there is a HUGE skill gap between newcomers and old players.

Gear does matter yes but after some weeks everyone is on same gear...

I think it's the same problem in most of the free games where you can buy stuff for money.

The game is in no way shape or form Pay to Win. Pay to be Lazy maybe, but not Pay to win.

dont be a moron... when you have to use all the mats you collected from 1-20 to craft just one item you were a shitty from lvl 1-20 and will continue to be... while others will pay money just buy the gear outright and effectivley be geared lvls 1-20.. and if they are a berserker well GG other team.. game is severely pay to win and has far to many inbalance and exploits to even be competative enough to support the money it asks for to pay to win... honestly im already over this game i also will be quitting and going back to smite..

First up, if you have played up until lvl 20, dont you think it is about time you put your hand in your pocket? If you have saved up all your crystals you should only need to pay about £6 for full lvl 20 gear. Or do you think the developers should work for nothing?

Also what have you been doing with your time whilst leveling if you dont have some mats left? Have you been pushing XP after each game to level as quickly as possible? Did you get the 7 days premium early on and use it to farm mats?

Really interested to learn how some people are having such a massively different experience to me. I am now lvl 13, not spent anything but I have farmed a lot by taking gold instead of xp, particularly when using premium. I have tons of mats, over 100 potions and find myself being competitive in pretty much every game I play, regardless of the opposition.

this could change at level 20 but tbh I think the devs might deserve my cash at that point, you know, so they can earn a living....

nearly 90 % of the people you see coloured, maxed on gear etc. are just using their rewards from tournaments that are taking place every week ..

Guys, don't be surprised when you spend all resources gathered playing till 20 lv on one thing if you were always moving the 'slider' to the right (full exp) after a battle and got to this 20 lv after 3 days of playing. There was no time to gather more materials...
@memenadc, one helmet with lack of all the rest armor gives nothing. Again, the holy button: LEFT CTRL. It REALLY DOES save your life... As for the healer, dude that was an issue that should make you see a conclusion - dont put all of your buildings in one place. Separate them a little, make them unable to be ranged with one shot. And they have been probably damaged already, or you just have too little mastery to make them be enough well armored to be unable to be one-shot-destroyed by a healer.
All the things that the ppl you call 'p2w-ers' you can get as well. It only takes some time. Don't be surprised if you get to 20 lv after these 3 days and you give nothing to a game. You are a newbie and want to play with experienced, even pro players, and hope you have any reasonable chance to 'win' ?

I play inq, and havent spend a single money for anything in this game. I am already lvl 20 and have "full gear" besides shoulders, with maxed enchantements (of course without maxed amount of possible bonus, for that I would need to be a millionare or extremely lucky). I even managed to create few amulets already, since the last patch, its not that resource - time demanding. This took me pretty much more than 6 months to do, since I dont play every day 20 matches, but like to play occasionaly.
BUT,
eventhough I reached this aparent top (for the time being), I still cant compare to those, who have shitload of crystals (either from tournaments or paying real money). They can keep up their equip with runes forever and have all amulets on all the time and this makes huge difference even on this point, where I should, as you all say, be equal to them. Well, somehow (lets call them p2w players, since it is pretty much true) if I go 1v1 against p2w inq, he has like 1k more HP than me, he hits me with PA for more than 2k, whereas my PAs hit for cca 1,7k. And just somehow, eventhough I have attack speed and crit amulets, whenever he hits me its like 70% one hit crit IK, somehow his attacks seem like they are faster than mine, although it should be equal.
OK, lets try to focus fire sisters, well p2w fire sister hits me for about 800 with fire ball, so she needs to hit me 4-5 times and I am done, she has like the same HP as me, so if she is not totally stupid and knows how to block an Inq, I have no chance unless she makes some mistake.
Then frost witch - again HP nearly same as me, she just needs to block my attacks and wait for a good time to freeze me in 1,5s cause of her speed and usually someone comes and helps her.
P2W zerger...he hits me for 5 times, and then/or just lands crushing blow, which with speed A is nearly impossible to avoid, and even with block on, I end up with 1/5 of my HP.
pony, even freaking p2w paladin owns me, with 2 critical PA and slowly regenerating health.

And no, I am no noob, I can play my class after this long time decently, and if I am in a balanced match I am usually in top 3 score possition.
As an Inq class I have quite hard time to get into a good clan team in tournament and win, so no way I get crystals from there and I really not planning on paying for this game, only to be called hacker and idiot because of this extreme inbalance this system creates. Enough I get hard times from some players when I use poison, because according to them, only noobs use the most dmg output spell Inq has.

My point is, that I understand the frustration people get, when they try to play this game and get incredible p2w feeling, because say what you want, it is there and if some major change in this system is made, you all have to admit, that paying, will always give you advantage over those who dont, if you are about the same skill (cause I met some paying players which were totally bad).
If I compare it to League of Legends for example, I reached lvl 30 in like one month time, got all needed runes, and then it was just me meeting opponents on different skill level, but none of them could have the same skill, but with some advantage over me, just because he could afford it.
