Good post, I see what you are saying BUT for me all character types have there advantages. Zerks knockdown attacks is one of their main benefits. Since I have started playing Panzar I have seen pretty much every class have something classed as 'OP', tanks - HP's, gunnars - too easy, zerks - two shot kill, fire mage - skyfire, sapper - mortar, ice - freeze etc etc. The point about saying 'block', is that it what you should do, block it or dodge it. If you are a class that cant go toe to toe with a zerk, then you you shouldn't be there. I still maintain that everytime I get killed on the ground by a zerk I am cursing myself for getting caught, not the skill for being OP. It is not about blinding defending the game, just that zerks are good at what they do, if you get caught by them you are dead. Still feel that later game there are lots of other classes who can have a far bigger impact.

People advising the use of "block", you can't just use that as an excuse every time.
Block is great, yes, but it's not the all-powerful solution to a problem, and it is a problem when so many people complain about it yet the same people defend it every time.

Why not? It is a very good and appropriate 'excuse' as you call it. And indeed it is a problem when such thing happens as we can see that new people still cannot understand the same simple thing - the only conclusion is that something should be done about this thing.

More seasoned veterans of this game assume that literally anyone who mouths a single complaint at the game is a noob. The thing is, Panzar is nothing new. You have to realize, a lot of people play a lot of games, they know how to play video games well.

Personally I think Panzar is somehow the only game of its kind.

Berzerkers can get ridiculous at times. Don't just say "block" again. You don't always have the chance for this, especially with this game's animation style. Being pushed back, always having to block or dodge or run and wait for a counter is not a good excuse for the times you do get one-shotted or two-shotted. Or the health difference in characters.

Yeah, you never could say that you always have chance to block someone, to kill someone, to run away from someone. The thing you mention is all about teamplay. Imho a zerk shouldn't have time to chase mages or dwarves, he should be so busy not to have time to really fish the classes - and i guess the enemy of him orcs are to make him that busy. And if at last the zerk can go to kill some firemage or gunner, well, it is a war. No pardon. If they can punch him from a distance through all the match, he also should be able to kill them a few times. Another issue is if you for example on your own go to the zerk and try to fight. After so much deaths you should notice that this place on the map is not for you.
Anyway, look at the results of some battles, as far as im concerned its gunners and firemages who usually deal the most damage.

I like Panzar. There's a reason I continue playing it. But every game makes my friends and I consider quitting, even when we destroy the enemy team. If you really do support this game, then you should realize that blindly defending it again and again is not helping. No game is suited for everyone, but when there's more things to make people quit than convince them to stay, there's a problem. Sure, you can continue defending it and making others - "noobs" - leave. That will simply kill the game even faster.

It's making a zerker less powerful (which is only about strength) what would kill this game. Every class is unique, each has different duties and pros and cons (!). The only thing they should change are actually minds of new players. The tutorial should teach tactics and what a particular class' duty in a battle is, and first of all: that it's always you who mainly impacts on your performance in a battle.

I guess my post here is just a point against what I've been seeing on these forums. People having complaints or suggestions about the game, and the same old people giving the same old reasons again. And still no changes are made. Not healthy for the game.

As i said in the first 'paragraph'.
